The opposition created ruckus in the House regarding the attack on Parliament on 13 December 2023.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla assured investigation, yet the opposition is not ready to calm down.
On the occasion, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that whether it is the ruling party or the opposition, everyone will have to pay attention and be alert that they do not give a pass to any person who creates anarchy in the House.
In case the opposition did not calm down, the Speaker adjourned the meeting till 2 pm.
6 accused were involved in the Parliament attack, out of which 5 are in police custody and a case has been registered against them under UAPA.
Police are searching for other criminals.
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Derek O’Brien suspended.
Derek O’Brien was creating ruckus in the House regarding the attack in Parliament, due to which Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar suspended him.
Derek O’Brien also raised a question and said that if we are being suspended for raising slogans then why are the BJP MPs who caused this attack not being suspended.
Derek O’Brien raised the slogan that dictatorship will not work in the House, it will not work.
On the other hand, other Congress MPs demanded the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah.
