Rahat Achanta is one of the newest breakout faces of Traitors India, The Telugu Edition, and the internet has already fallen in love. He’s charming, strategic, and definitely easy on the eyes. But who is he outside the game? Allow us to introduce you.
Before the castle and the cameras, Rahat was best known for Fruitoholic, the fresh-fruit brand he co-founded and built from the ground up. Fruitoholic is a complete world of fresh, clean eating across ten categories: cold-pressed juices, smoothies, milkshakes, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, oat combos and ice creams, all sourced from partner farmers and importers. The brand has secured over $6.02 Mn in funding and was featured in Inc42’s FAST42 as one of India’s fast-growing D2C brands, proof that a healthy idea, built with care and consistency, can stand out in a crowded market. It’s a business that reflects the man behind it: disciplined and detail-obsessed, with a genuine love for what he puts into his body.
That same drive took him to the padel courts. After falling for the sport in Bali, Rahat came home to Hyderabad and founded the Deccan Padel Club in 2026, followed by the Deccan Padel League. Over six weeks the league drew more than 5,000 people and became the city’s biggest padel event. Sponsored by Head Padel and always in training, he builds communities the way he plays: with vision, momentum and total commitment.
Then came the game. Out of twenty players, only two weren’t celebrities, Rahat and Dr. Meghanath, and Rahat didn’t just survive among the famous faces, he began puppeteering the entire game to his advantage. As a Traitor, he plays a patient, layered game. When Chinmayi stepped foot in the palace, Rahat recognised her ability to change the entire game and ensured that she wouldn’t spend more than 24 hours in the palace. When Vidyullekha Raman started becoming a threat to the Traitors, Rahat was the one who took her out first, calm and calculated, before the rest of the room saw it coming. Since then he’s been quietly planting names in the right conversations, letting suspicion travel on its own, while staying warm and friendly with everyone around him. He builds trust with every player, and that goodwill gives him cover and information, which is a big part of why he’s still a step ahead. Even after his unfortunate elimination, Rahat is still considered one of the sharpest players in the show.
He’s also, quite simply, a vision. His style is as considered as his gameplay: sharp, confident and effortlessly polished, with a launch look that had the internet pausing mid-scroll. He’s one of the most striking players the show has seen, and one of the most fun to watch, which is a rare combination in a game built on deception.
Smart, stylish, disarmingly charming and quickly becoming a fan favourite, Rahat Achanta is the new face on the block, and he’s only just getting started.
