What inspired you to start Soul Beauty Organics?
You know, makeup has always been more than just products to me—it’s about confidence, creativity, and self-expression. But for the longest time, I felt like the beauty industry was forcing us to make this impossible choice between skin safety and getting the results we actually wanted. That’s really why I created Soul Beauty Organics. I wanted to prove that you can have both—100% vegan, cruelty-free, chemical-free products that actually work for everyone.
Can you tell us about your personal connection to this mission?
Absolutely. This story is really personal for me. As a child, I was completely captivated by makeup—the colors, the creativity, that instant confidence boost you’d get from one swipe of lipstick. But as I got older, things got complicated. I developed severe pigmentation issues, and I didn’t realize at the time that many of the products I was using were actually making things worse because of all these harsh ingredients I didn’t understand.
So what was the turning point for you?
It was when my own children started showing interest in makeup. I found myself really hesitating, you know? As a mother, the thought of them putting products on their skin that were loaded with harsh chemicals and questionable ingredients—it genuinely unsettled me. I wanted them to experience that same joy I’d felt with makeup, but without compromising their skin health. And then it hit me: I couldn’t be the only one feeling this way.
Is that when you decided to create your own line?
Exactly. That concern became my mission. I started looking at what was available in the market and discovered this huge gap. There just wasn’t enough high-quality makeup that was truly safe for sensitive skin but still effective for people of all ages.
So I partnered with Vicky Kothari, and we dove deep into research and development for over two years. We stripped away all the unnecessary fillers and toxins, completely reimagining what makeup could and should be. And that’s how Soul Beauty Organics was born—we officially launched in October 2025.

How has the response been since you launched?
Honestly, it’s been overwhelming in the best possible way. Since we launched in late 2025, the response has just exceeded our expectations. Our collection keeps growing because we’re listening to what people across all ages are looking for in their makeup.
What’s coming next for Soul Beauty Organics?
I’m really excited about this—we have a new product launching in April – May : an Intense Black Kajal. It gives you that bold, dramatic definition everyone loves, but with the safety your eyes truly deserve. It’s everything you want in a kajal, with none of the ingredients you’re trying to avoid.
